Congrats sir,
Welcome to those of us dressed right and no longer naked. With that little peice of papper comes great responsibility. I expect you are a fine addition to the consealed carry club. I hope you carry daily and wish you never require it's use.

Thank you WDB. Carried concealed for 13 years in the Army. Instructor told us that there were uniformed LEO that couldn't get concealed carry in NC. I will be safe and responsible

I think you will find a few things not covered in state course requirements.

Read it before . Reread it just now. Agree 110% with what you say. You have written a piece that explains it to anyone if they just read it. Thanks for caring.

Robert

Default Update!

The Class is this saturday. Mopar (Dennis) and I are going to attend together.

I was going to take the Beretta 9mm or the Taurus PT111 9mm, but I just thought I should conserve my ammunition and take my Browning Buckmark .22lr.

Would this be ok for the class?

That will be fine if that's what you want to do. Most classes only shoot a box of 25-50 rounds and it is not necessary to bring the handgun you intend on carrying, unless you want some short yardage target practice with it. Many do bring various .22lr handguns. Just make sure on the CCL application form the box that says Type of handgun, you circle all the choices, Derringer, Revolver and Semi-automatic which means you can carry either one of them if you choose, concealed.

I think 22lr and CCW in the same sentence is a non sequitur.

NOT wrong, NOT stupid, just a non sequitur.
