It took 4 weeks. Faster than I expected

That is why I love Alabama...two days! in my county it costs $20/yr for a max of 5 years. In Arkansas, where I last lived, much much much more red tape and more expense. It is amazing how perverted the right to bear arms has become and how much interference/control the government has been able to establish. Background check, references, fee and viola!

Georgia ran about three weeks for my last one, but it is good for 5 years. WA has similar turn around and also 5 years.

Congrats, by the way.

Virginia cost varies by county. 10 to 50$ for a 5 year license. Got mine in 2 weeks. Only gripe is they don't require a ccw specific course in the training. Which is leading to a lot of Virginia residents getting into trouble because they don't now where they can and can not carrier. If even run into a few that don't now not all state recognizes their ccw . Luckily they dissent get caught.

WV is one of the most expensive states i have noticed. A $75-100 class is reqired plus $100 for a 5yr license.
However their reciprocity is tough to beat!

congrats. you now have been "re"-approved for constitutional rights that were already afforded you. and your state got to make some money (what, like $152.50?) and register you as a firearms owner.

I paid a hefty sum for mine. Pisses me off though because others shed their blood a long time ago hoping guys like you and me could simply live under the second amendment and that would be the end of it

Yes had to pay 125 but at least the training class was free

Washington is shall issue. I think that's better than some states, but let's be real.
CC happens... By anyone that wants to.

Smart states don't try to regulate it.
