Inside vs outside? back? cross draw? right/left? shoulder?

How would you prefer to wear your holster? inside or out? cross draw or back? if you are familiar with wearing a shoulder holster, whats the pros, cons vs wearing one on your hip? Leather, nylon or plastic? Please feel free to express your perspectives.

I have always been a fan of OWB strong side carry with a cant but I made my own holster for my beretta.
Not the best looking thing in the world but it works!

I always used OWB strong side carry but now I use OWB crossdraw as I found it to be more comfortable. I think comfort to be the most important when making the choice.

Most of the time I carry strong side IWB in a leather/kydex homemade holster, in cool to warm weather. Strong side OWB in cold weather in a Blackhawk CQC.

The IWB seems easiest to conceal with my type of clothing and is very comfortable all day. I haven't tried the crossdraw yet, as this is the side the wife walks on.

For the warmer parts of the year I like an IWB holster like the super tuck deluxe made by crosbreed holsters, but for winter I prefer a nice shoulder holster.

when just walking around in public shoulder but my shoulder holster is an old remake, points the gun down and just sits right on your side. Good for 1911's or medium frame revolvers, hunting I got a black hawk holster for my Taurus model 66 when I'm hunting or just walking around in the woods.

I have many different levels of dress I have to work around. Thus, I have many different carry options (pocket, belly band at 12 o'clock below belt, belly band at 12o'clock solar plexus, IWB 4o'clock are my primary options). I think I prefer IWB at 4 o'clock, but that requires I am not tucking in my shirt.

I carry my XD45C in a Milt Sparks VMII on my strong side with my Taurus Model 85 in a ankle or pocket holster depending on if I am wearing shorts or slacks. This is my daily carry gear.

When I am riding my horses I carry my Ruger GP100 or my Taurus Model 66 in a Trailmaster crossdrawn holster.

I (like CHLChris) use different options.
Using a IWB with speedo's on the beach does get me a bunch of intro's with the young ladies.
