Importance of a good Belt!
 

I have often heard that your belt is just as important as your holster. I agree with that, after trying out a few holsters with my everyday dress belt. My question is, do I have to go the route of one of these "concealed carry" rugged belts? Has anyone found just a name brand belt from the mall that is sturdy enough to do the job? I see the belts from Galco and 5.11 Tactical and wonder if I could find something comparable at the local department store. Any suggestions??

I've yet to see a "regular" belt that really does as good a job as a gun belt. If the gun you're carrying is very light then possibly but if it's steel - forget about it...

NGIB, you have any favorites out on the market? As far as brand of belts?

Does an airsoft 1911 work for you as a CCW piece. (Hint, same answer; NO!)
