Is open carry legal?
I do consider concealed a better option but will take any form of carry over none.

100% yes. I think law abiding citizens should be able to "legally" conceal carry with the proper training in any country in any establishment. Statistics show an armed society is a safer society. JMHO YMMV

with all the gun control aws and restrictions in place in your country, it's probably a moot point and more than likely will never happen.

do i believe in CC or OC? quite so! i believe in every LAC being afforded the right and opportunity to defend themselves at all times.

How could it be a bad thing?

There are some of those people whom believe that guns kill people, not people kill people, and they are the arrogant people running this country, controlling every little thing these days, its ridiculous over here.

Do you live in a high crime area, crimes that would justify you using your firearm to shoot someone. Interesting question is a firearm for protecting someone or to make them feel safer. I feel perfectly safe not carrying a firearm.

Lets just say my local area is where you would see at least 5 things that would make u uncomfortable on a daily basis, i recently got jumped by 15 people for no reason at all. (keep in mind this didnt trigger me to think about carrying guns in auzzie, just always a thought) I generally would feel more comfortable knowing i am safe whenever i leave the place. Theres people who commit crimes out there and the only thing that deters them other than law enforcment would be people whom carry publicly in my opinion. therefore a lower crime rate

If its like the UK I don't think carrying a firearm for self defense will happen, good idea or not. Is it lawful to carry pepper spray or a taser for example.
