Too much can go wrong by carrying a copy of your license and not the real thing. Plus if you get into an altercation with someone and the cops doesn't allow it then you are going to be in a lot of trouble for illegally carrying a firearm and using it.

I like the idea but ours have those pesky hologram/water mark thingies, so copying would not suffice. And yeah, pretty sure it's illegal, not that laws have ever stopped me from doing anything. You're not doing anything wrong morally, just legally. The application of that is on you, as are the consequences. Lol

An old friend had "CC + 7" on his plate and kept getting stopped to find out if he was drinking. Often he was! A gal I took my instructors course with had "GUNS" on her plate an was accosted by all sorts of anti-gun screwballs.
