I like the button-up shirts made for wearing untucked, some call them Hawaiian shirts. Not only are they looser fitting & eliminate the tell-tale bulge, they are extra long & hide my OWB rig even when I reach up to the top shelves at the store.

Of course, I prefer them in the solid colors as opposed to the flowery ones.

You might consider this rig;

http://www.concealedcomfort.com/

I have one, and I use it occasionally with my LCP. The hype says it works with a full-sized weapon, and the guy at the gun show where I bought it used it to wear a 1911 that was totally invisible. Sit, stand, squat, whatever, no problem. It's not instant access like an IWB or pocket holster, but if I ever carry a large handgun, this is how I'll carry it.

I use a butt forward carry. It hides better when bending and is easier to draw but you have to practice and make sure you rotate the pistol before you bring it up so you dont cross your body with the muzzle. I also use a cross draw at times. Especially when I am driving a lot. It is difficult to draw a pistol from the strong side when driving.

Mostly this right here^^. you could try a nylon blackhawk, there like 15$ and they cover the grip well to prevent some of that rubbing your getting. Like Rick said just wear t shirts that are a little baggy, and most of all once its situated don't mess with it. Wear it around the house, it takes time to get used to.

ever consider appendix carry at 12-1 o'clock? conceals even the largest guns even more so when you bend over . Down side sitting isnt as comfortable , but with the right gun its not bad at all

Yea I carry at 1 o'clock, Much easier for me to conceal, an personally I would rather have my weapon infront of me instead of were someone could possibly see it and dis arm me from behind..Much easier to fight someone off with them infront of you

Not to mention a straight line draw so as soon as the weapon is deployed you can have your target aquired even as you raise for line of sight.

If I'm carrying inside the waste band I wear a tight t shirt under my dress shirt. That way I can keep a layer between my skin and my gun.

I did try up front, but it's nowhere near as mobile. I cant bend over for crap with it up front.

And right now I am using the $15 Nylon blackhawk while a custom leather one is being made. seems nobody else is dumb enough to try to conceal a Beretta Elite with the thicker Brigadier style slide

I might give the "butt forward" a try. I used to tuck my water guns in that way as a kid
