Dealing with trailers and a drive by shooting. The trailer sat about 40 ft of the road a person fired a 9mm it penatrated 2 walls and key holed in the back wall. Another bounced off a cast iron skillet in the back side of the trailer. Luckily no one was hurt.

There are frangible rounds available but the info is kind of spotty. Some break up and some dont when the hit sheetrock. the mfgs always have glowing reports. The sky marshals carry them on planes. There is a lot of info on this link. http://www.theboxotruth.com/

I am not older than dirt but the rocks were bigger and there were more of them when I was a kid.

Yes if it was a FMJ....but a HOME DEFENSE Hollow Point 9mm will penetrate a full human body...but wont go very far after that.
I have done many ballistics test on home defense rounds and after about 12in of penetration through just BALLISTICS GEL(not including RIBS, ORGANS...ect) it starts to loss all of its penetrating power...It will go all the way through a body, but will not carry much further then that. It may stick in the wall behind the person you just shot....but I highly doubt it. Now if you were using a FMJ that will defiantly over penetrate

It comes down to, PROPER HOME DEFENSE AMMO, and SHOT PLACEMENT!

yeah I would enjoy a .410 with 00-buck in it for HOME DEFENSE(Taurus Judge). That is a great choice...I still would choose a 12 gauge though LOL
