A paddle holster is definitely not the way to go for IWB carry. They are way too bulky. If you are right handed go with one of the dozens of designated IWB holsters and buy one for a right handed person. The manufacturer puts the attaching point on the proper side of the holster

BigB, for an IWB try the crossbreed super tuck. They are becoming more and more popular. I bought one for my xd9sc and it is the best IWB I have found and cannot say enough about them. They cost about $80 shipped. The only draw back is it is a 3-4 week shipping because they are a small shop. But well worth the wait!!!!!

So many comments, so little time.<grin>

My daughter tried a ThunderWear holster and hated it. She is rather petite, and usually wears jeans or jeans shorts. She found it very uncomfortable when sitting, and unattractive when standing. She is now using a Desantis SofTuk with adjustable cant at her 4 o'clock position and is fairly happy with it.

A word of warning with the SofTuk. They are tight! Take the gun you want to carry and go to a gun shop to make sure you get a holster that fits. Chances are very good that the holster made for your gun will not work. The daughter's P238 had to go in a S&W Bodyguard holster.

I did get it. I like it. Waiting on my cwp to come in the mail (any day now...) so I can wear it more than around the house.
The only problem that I have is the material sticks to my skin. I got a few tube tops to wear under my clothes to solve that problem.

When it sticks to your skin does it cause irritation or do you just not like how it feels? I was thinking of getting one.

You have the right idea, and thats really the best thing that you can do IMO, the shirt will keep the holster off of your bare skin. I may have missed it but what holster did you end up getting?
