I feel the same way. We have a casino, Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana is about 10 miles from me and I've been there twice. First time was to apply for a security job (which I didn't get) and the last time my wife and I went with my parents and my aunt and uncle to eat at the Paula Deen buffet. My aunt and uncle are big casino patrons and they talked us into trying it out. The wife and I set $20 limits each. We got lucky though cause I walked out with 35 bucks and wife won 45.
That being said, I'd still rather buy something I can take home and use as I wish and not piss it away on a gambling boat.
My aunt was bragging one day about how much she one at the casino one night (think she got like 4500) but my dad kinda burst her bubble when he asked, "Yea but how much did you lose to win that 4500?"
