I put this in another post today. Maybe you can add this to number 8. You can't go wrong with an HK. I carry a full size USP .40. I mostly open carry while hunting. The compact USP .40 is what I recommend for cc. You have various carry options, a safety/decocker, polymer frame, nice sights, nice trigger pull in DA and SA, an excellent spring (like shooting a 9mm), premium material and famous German Engineering. Ok, I am biased, but honest. The 2000s are also excellent, but has less features for an easier carry. Cops over here use both.

Oh, a KelTech!!! Hell no. I would throw the gun at the bad guy and hope it will blow up in his face. Sorry I could not help myself.

Maybe it was an M&P compact, but I still like the Kahr's over the shields. Just something about them I'm not fond of. Maybe I'll ask to handle one tomorrow when I get off work, but as of now I'm going with a Kahr CM9. The KelTec has already been sold and for now I'm carrying a .38 in my pocket lol. A little bulgy but it works. I think I'm gonna buy a GSG .22 1911 with some overtime $$$ and carry it around along with my pocket gun and see if I can handle a full size gun on my side. I'm 6'2" and about 175-180 in the warm months, so in the summer in a t-shirt an shorts it's hard for me to hide a big gun.

I'm a big fan of IWI/magnum research. They have a micro baby eagle I believe. Havent held one but if its anything like the full size BE2 I have its comfortable to hold and should be rather reliable. Could be woth checking out.

Nothing wrong with that. My S&W J-frames have served me well for many years.

Op: based on your list you like semi-auto, correct? For pocket carry and shootability i might suggest a Beretta 32. Since you like 1911 but want something more compact than maybe colt mustang.
