Signing out, Alpha1victor.
We have 3, Buster (douglas) is a full blood boxer, he is mostly an inside dog. Outside there is Bonnie, she is a german shepherd mix, and Clyde, also a mix,not sure what.He came with the property, was living in one of the barns when we bought the place, then bonnie showed up about a year ago, looking kind of ragged, with a bad cut on the top of her head, so we took her to the vet and got her all fixed up. The one you have to watch is Curly, he is a 400lb ram that we inherited from a neighbor when she sold her property and moved into town, he is quiet, and sneaky. If he dosnt know you, you will get cracked in half, especially if you dont know to be looking for him.

Not too much, we live almost a 1/4 mile off the road, surrounded by 150acres of farm field, so not too many people wonder back there, and we have a couple of signs on the trees along the driveway that say, "STAY IN YOUR CAR"

I think the sign helps. I didn't keep a sign on my property. A husky/catahoula mix with white eyes acting like he would eat you through the windshield was enough of a deterrent.

Think something like the dog in the top pic here, but much bigger (this one's just a pup it looks like), and acting mean as hell.

A couple of well visible warning signs is all you need, after that its enter at your own risk.. No liability on you. Dogs are a good security. I have 3 huge red nose pitbulls, they look mean but they are the biggest babies and would NEVER bite anyone. They are awesome watch dogs as far as barking at a stranger but harmless. Just their looks is a deterrent

I've yet to actually meet a mean pit, regardless of what the msm has to say about them (they also say guns are evil, yet here we are).

However, they are so full of muscle I still give them a wide berth unless I'm familiar with them and they are familiar with me.

Never had to when off-duty. On-duty, sure, but never off.

It was the early wee hours of the morn when I heard the
sounds of someone running and screaming for help. I was
at the corner of Times Square in New York City waiting for
the red light to turn. A red-headed young woman hysterical
and out of breath reached for the door of the yellow taxicab
I was driving that night and jumped in. Her freckled face was
a mask of terror. Soon thereafter four black men opened the
door and attempted to pull her out by her hair. I immediately
pulled a 38 snub-nose revolver I had been illegally carrying for
protection on them and they let go and ran off. The young
woman in her early twenties could barely speak. I drove her
back to her parent's hotel, gave her a tongue-lashing about
touring Times Square at that time of the night, walked her
to the elevator and waited for her to go up. I didn't charge her
nor did she thank me, as she was still in shock. But that was
the first and last time I ever drew on anyone.

I drew on someone once. They were drunk and passed out at a party. I used a permanent marker too!

Not trying to be rude, but, that joke got old after the first four people used it in this thread.
