Default Got my first ccw.

I was dead set on getting a PF9 because of the price and the reviews of the gun. I went to the range today to rent one before I baught it. They had both a PF9 and a Ruger LC9 so I rented both. The PF9 just felt like a toy its hard to decribe but it just felt cheap(not bashing anyone who owns one). The LC9 on the other hand just fit my hand better and felt so much better shooting it. When I went to my gun shop it was only 30 dollars more so I got it. Now I just need a good holster and my chl and Im good to go.

And of course stupid me I left the business card of the local guy that the gun shop recomened for a custom holster at the gun shop and they wont be open till tuesday.

Congrats on the LC9 and yes, Federal Hydro Shocks are a great, top of the line, American-made self defense ammo round for 9mm.

I changed it to LC9 for you and congratulations.

I think you'll love the lc9. I've had one since Saturday and shot 200 rounds so far. Great little gun. Pretty accurate for such a small gun. Still prefer my Glock 17 to it but good bang for the Buck. If you plan on carrying extra mags they're pretty pricey. Im so used to carrying my G17 that I feel naked almost when I carry my lc9 due to the weight and size difference. Now, are you going to carry safety off, one in the chamber or what?

First off I plan on shooting this gun for a few weeks then getting my chl. I have shot pistols for several year but they were all large or medium frame guns so this is a little different to me. I figure I will carry safty on with one in the chamber and yes I know the extra mags are kinda pricey but I would feel a whole lot better knowing I have a few more rounds that close and in sayin that I have not been able to find one yet but does anyone make a extended mag for this gun yet? I think a back up mag with 9 rounds or more would be a great.
