Thanks for all of the kind words, I though we did ok. The wife has her CCW but she has nt found her weapon of choice yet, so she does not carry. I'm sure the store surveillance system had it on tape. Two workers magically appeared and got real busy doing nothing in the area we were in after they left.

One guy commented afterward that his day was not so bad after all! Which was kind of funny. It's amazing how now one was willing to come to our aid - NOT that we needed it.

I agree that we were no where near the need for any weapon talk, or flashing let alone drawing. It was just nice knowing that the right people were going to win this.

While I admire your ability to de-escalate the situation, I would have gleefully reported to the courthouse to explain why I had punched the beeyotches husband into unconciousness and then flushed their car keys down the nearest crapper. But that's just me. And I'm not kidding.

You did well CBW...and you followed the number 1 rule.

Be nice...

Until...

It's time, not to be nice...

I'm happy for you that these goobers decided to disengage before they forced you to escalate the situation.

Yup, awesome mercedes in that movie.

Considering that those two idiots put that store at risk of liability, i would think the store would have been more interested in banning them & making sure you guys weren't going to sue.

Sounds like the situation was well taken care of.

People are getting rudier everyday.

Guess the gene pool needs more Bacasill.

Would have tossed those two out on their asses if they came into our families' store with that ****.

We keep a big can of sabre CS/OC spray under the counter.Thats for the loonies.

For the real problems,we have other options......

I think its a good idea to carry a non-lethal alternative like spray or a taser as well as a firearm.
That way,you have the option of dealing with nuts like that without endangering yourself legally.

In a perfect world, when people step out of line like that they should be subject to their intended targets' wrath.
Maybe then we'd have some 'civil' in this civilization.

But we live in litigious liberal la-la land.

You should get some self defense spray.

Pepper spray is ok , seams to work fine on "Operation Repo". I never gave it much thought, I'll think on that one, but there is a limit to how much I"m gonna carry before it's just not worth it.

Thanks for the input

When I first saw the title of this thread I thought you were referring to a Canadian when you said "looney". The ones that cross into Michigan seem to be even more anti than the homegrown types for some reason.

Nice people other than that though.

I like the pepper spray with the CS/OC mix in it.
I'm sure some of our peace officer friends can extrapolate on it better than I can,but as far as I know its a mix of military grade chemical tear gas and typical pepper spray.
I dont know about the 'legality' of it in your area,I believe I heard somewhere that in some places the CS stuff is illegal-we wouldn't want to actually put a hurting on some scumbag thats terrorizing peaceful folk with their BS,now would we?

But anyway-I'd talk to a local cop if I was you.

You can get some good advice on non-lethals from them,as they are trained to use them, and perhaps also talk to a lawyer.

You should know (preferably have on retainer) a lawyer anyway if you go armed.

As to size-you can get those really little key-chain canisters of Sabre in OC,I think I've seen the OC/CS mix I like but I dont recall......

Anyway-kudos on your excellent display of restraint.

Perhaps I might not have been so cool headed myself, but thats NOT a good thing.
