I know I'm a little late on this but I've shot the LCP and the P3AT. I liked them both. Great little guns for the price. However, I did not like the fact that they can't be dry fired and do not lock back the slide after the last round. For that reason, my favorite .380 that I've shot is the Kahr P380.

And jhughe, the LCP runs for about $300 right now. You can get a Kel Tec P3AT for even less and they are essentially the same gun.

I don't remember for sure. The figure of $230 comes to my mind but that might not be right. I bought it when they first came out. I put it on layaway and Ruger recalled them before I picked it up. I had to wait for it to be returned before I could pick it up.

I recently purchased a Taurus TCP 380 and a Smith Bodyguard 380.
The Taurus shoots well and is pretty accurate considering the short barrel.
I haven't gotten the chance to fire the Smith yet.
