DPS and CHL. that suggests Texas. Took mine 4 weeks and one day from the time they received all my paperwork.

It just depends. The people who are taking care of that stuff get paid by the hour and "work 9-5 Monday-Friday. I took them almost 2 weeks to answer my questions about a psychological exam.

The wait seems like forever. I tracked my mailed paperwork so I knew it got there, but it took 2 weeks for them to post on their website that it had arrived. Another 2 weeks and it was here.

Took the CHL renewal class on Sept. 8. CHL license is supposedly in the mail. So it's been about 4 weeks.
