Me being serious about taking a gun in the shower or keeping my guns dry? When my wife's kid asked me why I need to take a gun in the shower with me, I said that whoever breaks into the house and disturbs my shower is going to get more than they bargained for, and I'm not talking about the gun.

Sometimes when people see me wipe down my gun after they touch it, they'll touch it again just to get on my nerves, and then I'll have to completely wipe it down again to get their sweat off of it.

Yes I have taken a few showers in my time with my 249. And an all expenses paid vacation to some of worlds hot spots.
