This is not a new concept. And no joking matter. My grandmother, a saint, and departed these many years, carried a 1911 into the shower every day hung on her nipple ring.

Ah, yes, remember her well- a fine lady. But she had to give up that practice, as I recall.

Said the 1911 kept whacking her on the knee.......

Knew a guy who had a 12 Ga. shotgun in his shower. He slipped on a bar of soap one Saturday night. When he woke up he discovered he had got a colonscopy with an 870 Remington.

On relection, and in all seriousness, yes, there WAS a time I carried in the shower. An M-16. Loaded. Hung it on the hook while I soaped up and rinsed off under a raised 55 gallon drum shower.

At that time in my life, I was never more than 3 feet from a firearm, 24/7.

Yep back in the 1960s you could get an all expense paid tropical vacation. They had endless shooting programs and back packing on wilderness trails. Warm showers in humid swamps and games where you could try to figure out what the food was?

I keep mine between two towels nearby so it doesn't accumulate moisture from steam in the bathroom. I am crazy OCD when it comes to keeping my guns dry, but I won't go anywhere in the house without one. Every time my wife turns on the dryer (vented inside the house), I run patches through the bore to make sure it's bone dry.

The only place to carry a glock is the shower, unless you have company
