Default do you beleive Kleck's survey numbers?

1-2 million times each year, in the US, according to him, a gun in the hands of a CIVILIAN prevents a crime. Animal stops are not included, but I've had to do that, on dogs, several times and I personally know of a case where a gun stopped a bull that had a man down. my maternal grandmother was killed by a cow.
