I used to carry 2 1911's all the time... it was faster than reloading. New York speed load. Since I sold the business I gave up on that, but I think that a guy needs to be packing spare magazines. That little .380 was not enough medicine in my book~~I'm talking about the old guy in the internet lounge. He did gud with it tho...too bad he didnt have a .45.

I've seen pics of your ammo stashes
WC counts by the case - not the rounds ---

Hell I have at the very least a few hundred of each: .380, 38, 9, .45, .32, .40, 12 ga 00 buck, .223 and 5.56. But I only own a 9mm, .380 and an AR. You never know what you'll need or how you'll have to use it.

You're right JJ, but I think you'd agree it would be a tough spot. If I'm on that spot, I hope I'm fighting my way to a long gun.

Great another shooting in Colorado! People need to carry a gun and extra ammo!

If I am in a situation where more than 7 rounds are needed, then I have the wrong firearm.

But I carry extra mags loaded. Why?
The magazine is the weak part of the semi-auto. Should I need to replace the one in the firearm, I can.

Spare ammo/mags/speedloaders? NAH! You don't need a spare tire/jack/tire tool either.

If you ever were to fire your gun at a BG chances are it will be up close and personal and probably just 2 rounds are all you need. But,who fills their car with the exact amount of gas they need to travel from point a to point b right?
