25-5 makes a very important point. I enjoy a drink or two, but not when I'm armed. If armed, I forgo alcohol.

Id have to agree here, seems like before carrying my bs tolerance was A LOT lower, not that I would fight dudes on the street,, very few times anyways.....
But since carrying even my wife has noticed ill let the majority of bs go,, just as a legal standpoint really, in court I need to be able to truthfully testify that I did not in any way add or instigate the assailant, in which case caused him to make a deadly mistake of drawing a weapon or attacking me or my family. My weapon is for true DEFENSIVE use. Just don't want to muddy the waters in case ( god forbid) I ever am forced to use it . Btw. MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL.

YES! I admit to being a hot head When I'm unarmed. When I carry a firearm, CC or when I was on the job, I became the most even tempered easy going person around. You could call me any name in the book and I'd rather walk away. I always joked with my wife that carrying a firearm didn't make me feel like a big man, but had the opposite affect on me than most.

Wrong, it had the SAME affect on you as most!

Please elaborate a little on the distance thing, I don't have a ccp yet and am still kicking the idea around. I am not yet convinced that it isn't a "back door way of registering not firearms but the owners". Only time will tell on that though.
