This thread died 4 years ago. What the heck...I will play along. I sometimes carry an NAA 22mag in a leather pocket holster when I cant really carry anything else.

These were the choice of prostitutes and gamblers 150 years ago. There are prostitutes and gamblers today. I really doubt any them carry these 2 shot "suicide" specials.

Those derringers are cute but are the most worthless guns around. I have a 38 and a 41 and I have shot many from 22 to 45 Colt. I consider them accurate only if you "press into flesh". I am going to buy one of the tiny 22 revolvers to try out soon.

My NAA is actually quite accurate. I was able to hit a pop can sized target at about 15 yards with it. That is with 22lr. 22mag is a different animal altogether. I can shoot 22mag out of mine. Bit it is hard to hold on to.

With that said I still prefer a more powerful cartridge. I only carry it when something bigger is not possible.

Rick these Bond Arms derringers are a little heavier that the others and it does make them a little eaiser to hang on to also the grips are a little thicker.
I have the extra 410 barrel for mine and usually when I am carrying the derringer I have that barrel on it.
Around 10 yards is as far as I have tried to shoot the 22 mag and it is very accurate at that range
