Gripsmeister, thanks a lot for the info, this is why I love this forum. Good information from different mindsets, with experience to back it up. I am impressed with this weapon and enjoy carrying it for the piece of mind it brings. I do carry a small light and a extra mag in a horizontal belt clip that is leather and matches my belts nicely one brown and one black.

Do you practice tueller drills in the dark with this flashlight and kimber firearm? Its very important. I do not carry extra mags. Do not feel the need because of situational awarenss. This weapon cocked and locked is 8 rounds which is enough to get any possiable senario i may end up in handled. I dont look for trouble and im not into security le or military situations that would require something of this nature. If its not enough i shouldnt have been there so i dont go there anyway. Avoiding stupid situations or senarios is always good practice.

I used to carry a smith and wesson air weight 38 special very good only paid 500$ for it and retail on the model was 700$ but I just take a bandana and make that in to a holster ( had to inpervise)
