Yep, my son is itching for something more compact... Getting his CCW in April so...

I'll probably spring for whichever compact he picks and keep that Bright Stainless Beauty in MY safe!

It's win win for both... He'll inherit that CZ on day anyway.

I had heard the 75b described as the 1911 of Europe and am very impressed with this gun!

The lines are beautiful, 16 + 1, Single Action Auto... What's not to love!

Tack, Have a similar issue to yours. My daughter married a great guy. He's a Marine and he loves to hunt. He's all about long guns.

But we are basically on probation in each others book. He needs to help me learn about shotguns and rifles. I need to help them learn about pistols.

Got them (both) gift certificates for basic marksmanship classes and concealed carry classes for Christmas. We're still working on how to get me up to speed on long guns. (Daughter is already conversant in shotgun.) And how to get them and me to a pistol range at the same time. I'm the designated babysitter when they go out anyplace!

Balota :
A rifle is merely a crutch for a man who can't hit with a pistol at long range . ( just kidding )

Gotta remember that one for when I can't hit the broad side of a small target at range with the rifle. But only if I can back it up by hitting with my pistol!!! (Note to self: need more range time...)

Picture it as a pistol with a shoulder stock and a very long sight radius. With open sights you still focus on the front sight. Tuck it in tight and lean into the shot. Piece of cake says the man that is scared to death of that much powder going bang right next to his face. Ooops. That last sentence probably didn't help much. Sorry. <grin>

With a name like Hossfly along with that handsome good looking face, I'll bet you never had to tell a woman a lie. LMAO
You kind of remind me of Brad Pitt in the face.
