One of the larger cities in Snohmish County...but still lots smaller than Seattle or Bellevue.

Finally got the Indiana CCW permit in the mail after getting back from vacation, guess I should go on vacation more. Got it laminated with the 10 mil lamination material at Office Max. Guy there says..."Oh lifetime permit, great, got mine too", but if he was carrying he had it really well concealed, but guess thats the point. No big deal, like 6 bux for the lamination. So the wait is over. Looks like the day count was 122.

So after filing the application on jan 11, I finally receive from the state police, my RETURNED application because my local police clerk did not fill out a line on the application. It was left blank. So now I have to return it to them corrected and start the wait again! Unbelievable!!

For the record guys, Its an LTCH (License To Carry Handgun) not CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon)

You can, by law, carry any way you see fit. Open Carry, Concealed, makes no difference in the still free state of IN.

I do like how indiana has the lifetime permit, i think thats a cool idea. How much does it cost to get your permit there?

IIRC I paid $60 for my lifetime, but i got a discount because i already held a current LTCH. I am thinking its $125 for 1st timers, not exactly sure on that. Still, not bad for a lifetime permit.

That beats $50 something for new and $30 something for renewals every 5 years.

Thats a fact. I spent more in renewals then Fathead spent for his lifetime. (have had a IN LTCH nigh on 20 years)
