IMO, I would go with a Colt defenfer(3inch) barrel or a something like that in a Kimber or a Springfield, heck even Para makes one of these in a 3 inch barrel type 45's. Wear a belt and a loose comfortable t-shirt and you are set. Like I said in the beginning it's just my opinion. Good luck, Ed
i live out in miami. i am use to the heat. and i carry a beretta 92 compact otwb around 3-4 oclock. ill use cargo shorts or jeans. shorts on the hot days. I wear loose shirts especially cotton button ups since they breathe best. havent had any trouble.
I live in South Carolina, with its 95-103-degree heat in the summer. I carry a Pare-Ordnance Warthog, model WHX1045R, because it's only 6.5" long, 4.75" high, and still is a .45ACP with 10+1 capacity. It hides well under any loose-hanging shirt, and is dependable, plenty accurate, and sturdy.
