Carrying isn't enough. We need to encourage as many people around us to

join the NRA today. Because-aw screw it, just do it because it's my birthday,

OK?

Living in New Jersey you cant get a CCW so I got a Florida Non Resident CCW witch allows me to carry in 33 states across America isnt it something when you pay property tax in Jersey and have to get a CCW from a state 1200 miles away that why I want to move out of the rotten state when I leave the state I carry a Sprtngfeild Armory Micro Compact .45 or a Ruger SP101 .38

I leave the house with it all the time! Never caught short of having it. Firearm and CCW permit go hand in hand. Never know what's 'round the bend.

I do and I carry every day. I try, more like strive to be no more than 3 steps away from one of my guns all of the time, even in the shower I can reach one without getting out of the shower.

I work for myself and open carry at work with a concealed backup. I also agree this is not a permit to shoot, just a permit to have protection at my side.

The decision to shoot is something not to be taken lightly at all.

Have to agree with you Sonnypie, it does not feel right when I am not carrying and I have been carrying for over 20yrs. To me it is like when you forget your watch. You are always looking at it.

This is my daily carry

I have taken the class, applied here in NC, and am waiting for the concealed carry permit to arrive (it takes up to 90 days.) Once I get it, I don't plan on carrying right away. I just learned how to shoot a few months ago and want to get in lots more time at the range first.
