I carry the Kahr P9 everyday, jeans or cargo shorts. I just forget its there. I enjoy range time with it too. It's just a great overall concealed carry firearm. My next purchase will be a K9 (metal frame) in .40. We'll see how that carries, but it's got to be more comfortable than my Glock 23. The Glock just seems too thick after carrying the P9.

Carry my PM9 in a belly band... Most comfortable rig I've tried yet.

I've carried the PM9 since 06 and I just love it. Just the right amount of protection in a very concealable size. I bought a Glock 23 two years ago for a range gun and household protection. It was too large for concealed carry (in my opinion) and just did not feel "big" enough for my hands for everyday home protection. So I replaced it with the full size Glock 22 which I like a lot. It feels great in my hands and is very accurate at the range!

Don't forget the XDS in 9mm. Fondled one at SHOT and it looked pretty sweet. Now getting one might be an issue.

I have a Kel tec pf9. Good little gun! It can be a little picky with ammo but find one it likes and you will be happy. I also have a Taurus 709 slim. Love the trigger on this underrated little beauty. I am Not a big guy and these both conceal nicely. If your price is around $600 you can probably buy both.

Another would be the Springfield EMP 9mm. I've played with a couple but don't have any real world experience with it. Everything I've heard the 9mm is fantastic, the 40 not so much.

-Kahr CW9 (could get ahold of one)
-Sig 225 P6 (one in stock nearby but its pretty worn)
-Sig p239 (?)
-Kimber Solo (last made early 2012, can be hard to get)

I love my 938 but it definitely fits in the sub compact category. Did I mention I love it? Both my sigs have been great. Go find a range that rents them and handle them all and shoot them, find what fits.
