Default Come to Louisana!!

LA voters just made our CC laws the strongest in the nation with an amendment to our constitution forcing the highest judicial review of any CC or OC related issues.

I'd love to at least visit Louisiana. I think it would be a blast spending a couple days with Wills and his wife.

I'd only be able to come for a visit. I can't leave my Dad right now. He is in poor health and needs me.

Yeah jgo! I did my part and voted yes also. However, I think it would be beneficial for some real in depth explanation of it's provisions.

I understand that it authorizes anyone to conceal carry in the state without going thru the process of getting a permit. Is the state going to continue to issue permits? No? If a person wants to make a trip out of state and has no printed permit even though there may be a reciprocity agreement in place, how will the out of state LEO view this?

I know and you know that we will not be allowed to carry in some areas such as courtrooms, police stations, etc but someone sure needs to "splain" where we will be able to carry now that we couldn't before. Otherwise, I could see a bunch of law suits to test the language in the amendment.

If you come across anything official regarding the actual provisions it sure would be great if you could post it. I'll do the same.

Thanks
