Have any of you used a clipdraw for concealed carry? If so how well did it work?

I never have, but I never would, either! I canNOT imagine leaving the trigger uncovered. But, then again, both of my carry guns are not protected by an external safety (Glock and Kahr).

There was a local story recently of a man--stoopid man, but a male species nonetheless--who was mexican carrying with sweat pants. It started to slip, he reached down to grab it, it fired, and he yelled, "I just shot my groin!" in the Lowe's he was shopping at.

Steel clip is just one step better than mexican carry, IMHO.

It's the only way to go!

Practice makes perfect. And I typed that with a pretty good slide-bite on my left thumb!

I'm not a big fan of thew clips. But it's just a personal thing. I tried a couple on different pistols and didn't like the feel. It just didn't feel as secure as it would with a decent leather holster. I'm a little old and set in my ways though.:D

I've known people to use them and swear by them. Cane seems to like it and his is an opinion that I would be inclined to listen to. I do wonder if he has one on a Colt though (The horror!!!!!).

I have one on my LCR like Cane has and have been very pleased. I carry on my side just like it would be in a IWB and have not had any troubles.

I have one on my snub-nose revolver.
It works as advertised.

i have one on my taurus slim - works fine....doesn't take up as much space (or waistband) as a IWB holster - which i also have....

works just fine...

I've seen 'em in my uncle's NRA mags always wondered if they worked.

Does it work on heavy pistols like my EAA Windicator snubby?

Those LCRs are sweet. I may buy a clip draw and try it out. It does not cost much so if I don't like it I am not out much money.
