Class A License
 

So I just applied for my class A because my job requires me to carry a gun. I applied for both personal and business. The guy in charge of the licenses at the local PD said that I would probably only get it for job only. My understanding is that it goes to the State Police for actual approval. If I only get it for business what are my options? Im looking forward to buying firearms but I dont know what to do if I dont get it.

Next time just say you want it for personal protection, having it for pp will cover both on and off the job. I don't know what it means if they say it's only for work though. What kind of work are you in? Security guard?
