I sent my paperwork in at the end of Sept. And still no word. You're supposed to give up to 45 days for processing at least here in VA and I think TX is similar. So yes its normal
Yes it's normal. Your packet goes into the mail room and sits there for a little while. I know the waiting is the hardest part but be patient.
Mine said it was being manufactured for a week AFTER I received it.

I sent all my paperwork in on the 11th of October and the processing page hasn't changed on the online page ( this is in tx) . Is this normal?
Small world. I sent mine in on the exact same day and I'm also here in Texas. I figure the DPS isn't too concerned with keeping their website up to date when it comes to stuff like this. Wouldn't worry about it...
