Does anybody know what it costs in texas for a CHL?? and what do i need to do to get one?

Depends, are you military (active duty or retired)?
if yes, there is a $0 state fee, you do however have to pay for CHL Training (unless you have qualified with an M9).
if you are NOT military it is a $140 State fee and however much your CHL class is ($60 - $120)
