you can get a ruger lcp that is really conceable for under $300. you will get 6 rounds of 380 acp. for $400 you can get a ruger sr9c. 10 rounds of 9mm and an extra magazine comes with the gun that can hold 17 round of 9mm. I would spend a little more and get a ruger sr9c.

Sounds like the search I just went through. Kept looking at 9mm, but finally decided on .380 because I wanted to make sure it was a gun I would carry as much as my pocket knife. I wound up getting the S&W Bodyguard .380.

If I was looking at a 9, the Kel-Tec and Kahr would be top on my list.

Default Small carry

Saw the new RUGER LC9 for $337.49 at a dealer in Sarasota. That sounded like a good deal. Thinking about it myself.

Get a S & W 642 .... When you get a cheap auto, you wind up spending $150 more for range fees and ammo. You get a jam in an auto and you need to run two boxes of $18 380 ACP through it to be confident again.

I carry the Keltec PF9 or a Charter Arms .38 Undercover. Both are inexpensive and reliable.

Any thoughts on what you think might work.
I always carry a Taurus TCP738, which I'm very happy with. When it's used as a BUG, I also carry a snubbie 38 in an ankle holster in my boot. Living in Texas, this way I can beat the heat and still be adequately armed. The TCP738 carries well in a hip pocket.

Default My newest Carry

Normally I carried a KelTec PF9 or my Springfield Ultra Compact .45 auto but
prowling my local Pawn Shop I spied a brand new in the box Zastava M88A for $299 (EAA has them for the same price) It looked like a miniature 1911, was all steel, beautiful dark blue, white dot sights, 8 round magazine, so Iswapped off the Kel'Tec PF9 and am very pleased with this Serbian, Zastava
Pistol. It is as accurate as to my ability and feeds regular or hollowpoints like
great. It doesn't spank my hand and trigger finger like the lighter 9mm I swapped with some other stuff even for it,,,,

I dont yet have my CCW, but I've got a KelTec PF9 that totally hides on my body, and I'm a small framed person. Not a bad gun for around the $300 mark, if you can get past the heavy trigger pull. Plus the 9mm packs a little more punch than the .380.
