He lost a lot I bet jk but seriously I have seen blind people hunting before most times they had an assistant helping them aim by either calling off corrections or adjusting the weapon this is not practical in a sd situation. A trained cop, soldier, marine hell damn near everyone with full capabilities of sight and hearing can be disarmed and have there own weapons taken and turned on them then what chance does blind person have of defending against this

This is an edgy question. Should a blind person be denied a Constitutional guarantee awarded all other American citizens? I am not a Constitutional scholar versed well in the Federalist Papers. I am however like many Americans today concerned about PC decisions. The "Stateist" would say for the safety of the people at large they should not. I might say why not? The problem is who will make these decisions. The BATFE may then decide a hang nail could be grounds for a denial. After all NYC has restricted the size of a coke because they found a fat kid in some grade school.

Yup, the question could become "how blind?". Anyone requiring eye glasses could be restricted at some point.

My replies are based on the assumption that they are totally blind. Poor vision is a different thing.

Humm? That is the problem. Who will be allowed to make the decisions at what point shall you be denied your rights as an American citizen? The separation of state controls and personal freedom was a driving force of our Founding Fathers rejecting the English Laws.

Slippery slope. I think I see OK without spectacles, but my optometrist would probably disagree. Where do we set the limit 20/20, 20/10, 20/1?

On a serious note I'm not willing to deny a citizen their rights. And legally blind is like 20/200 isn't it? I know a woman that has a driversa license wit hthat lind of vision. and that's not a right...Just privilege.
