I know this much, many blind people are not handicapped in any way. A blind man in the area where I grew up was arrested for making whiskey and growing weed in the swamp. The same swamp where he was arrested many able bodied people have gotten lost and a search party was required to find them. This fellow would roam around the swamp like he could see and had a built in GPS. He walked into areas that I would go to by boat so I wouldn't have to venture very far from the boat.

I am not saying every blind person should have a gun. But blind people like the fellow I just spoke of can handle a gun to defend themselves. If a beeper was placed near the target they would hit it at 7 yards.

Are you listening to Piers Morgan? He brought this up the other night.... Of course to create controversy and ratings!

I give very little attention those who want to criticize US laws when they're not even AMERICAN.

I also extremely disagree. My husband can hit targets so you are wrong...he even plays basketball and makes baskets. You're very judgmental about something you know nothing about. Blindness isn't dumbness.
