I don't think you have the mental capacity to carry and use guns. That is the most ridiculous statement I've ever seen..
Excuse me but I'm going to go to the school for the blind and give away my guns..

Really? Insults because someone disagrees with you?

I blind person will wait until there is an actual threat, not a "perceived" threat.

Did you ever wonder why the two little projections on the top of your hand gun are called sights?
So, you are advocating the denial of a right, based solely on nothing?

Based on a physical limitation, there are some things handicapped people simply cannot do, having a family member who was handicapped I know this to be true.
As far as a "right to bear arms" we have relinquished that long ago.
You now have to be granted permission from your leaders to "legally" carry a gun.
I know there are exceptions Vermont being one but the issue is endangering others around you. The blind have other avenues at their disposal, stun-guns, pepper spray etc.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/09/09/iowa-blind-gun-permits/2790733/

No actual shooting required to obtain said permit, even for ppl with perfect vision.
Like previously stated, ridiculousness such as this is just ammo for gun grabbers.

Please tell me you do not teach your handicapped family member to accept his limitations and not attempt greatness.

Is this family member of yours blind, by chance? I ask, because I have 3 family members that are blind. And if our family treated them this way, they would have hated us.

Edit: Stun guns aren't available to civilians in EVERY state, mine is one of them. Pepper spray isn't 100% effective. And sighted people can be just as dangerous with a firearm.

Hey my friend in high school was legally blind, could not get a drivers license, and took 3rd place in our explorer's handgun competition. He was stacked against 300 competitors. Just because you're legally "blind" doesn't mean you can't see. Just that you can't see as well as others. He shoots better than some cops I know who have 20/20 vision. I'd rather have him watch my back in a shootout than some of those guys. You get tunnel vision under stress anyways.
