I'm in eastern Ohio and I am finding it way too difficult to get my PA nonresident. I need to have two character references from whatever county I apply in even though I don't live there. How am I supposed to do that, go door to door?

Are you filling out the proper form? I know we have 2 different forms here for res and non-res.

For some reason to get a non resident you have to have two contacts that are residents basically references

I didn't carry it in my vehicle and if I did, it was legally locked up as specified by the RSA. Gun locked separately from the ammo which was also locked up.

Maybe that's how my NY buddy got his out here in NH. Obviously he knows me and my wife. I don't remember being a reference though.

Not in Florida. You can have a loaded gun without a permit in your vehicle. The law states that it needs to be "reasonably inaccessible". It can either be loaded in your glovebox or in a secured holster, i.e. snap holster. If only they could hurry up and issue my cwp....

Fortunately you can here in Missouri....you can actually have the weapon on you, concealed. But when you get out of the car, the gun must stay behind....unless of course you are legal to CCW.

Nice! Never going to happen for me as i live in New Heresy. I do have my FL CCW for when i travel (and i do). But it sure would be nice to be able to defend myself where i actually LIVE!
