Again I agree that training is better than none, just kinda suprises me that one can get through life full of azzholes without ever fighting, maybe growing up in rough areas has my view slanted on this.
I agree. Real life experience is best. Somone that was in a war, or a cop, with real bullets flying around will always have an advantage over someone that has never been shot at.

Running around chasing folks, fighting,and being shot at was the best times of my life... Good training pays off when the SHTF

I misunderstood. It seems that just mentioning martial arts brings out a heated discussion. All I said was that I was not bringing my gun and I was more comfortable protecting my family in the crowd with Taekwondo. It was only when I felt challenged that I felt a need to prove myself.
