I carry the Winchester 127 +p+, but any of the top brand 115, 124, or 127 gr +p or +p+ ammo that is reliable in your PPD will serve you well!
I don't recommend any bullet heavier than the 127 gr in the 9mm. The 147 gr are just to heavy for this caliber and case size.

I would ask for what gun before I could accurately answer that. Are you okay with risking premature wear with +P rounds?

Personally I feel one should practice regularly with the ammo they plan on carrying in their gun. Not only that but to test it to ensure as best possible that it will feed, cycle and expand properly and regularly. Thus unlike the rest I won't go off all half-cocked & willynilly with an answer.

Ammo is more important a decision than the gun itself in my eyes!

My choice in 9mm is 124gr +P loads from either Speer (Gold Dot) or Federal (HST).
