DefaultCC License?

If I git a CCL can I carry loaded rifles & shotguns in my car or is a CCL only for pistols?

I'd reccomend calling your local law enforcement officer for clarification.....or take the class to obtain your license and ask the instructor.

In Arkansas it's a CHL(concealed handgun license). How you gonna conceal a shotgun anyway?

I only know my state's laws (and even then not by heart), but long guns have different rules. Our CCW, called a CHL here, applies only to handguns. Long guns can be in the car, but one must be en route to hunting/fishing.

I can't imagine a state would have a CCW apply to long guns since there is no real way to conceal a long gun.

Laws vary state to state, and legal advice here is worth exactly what you paid for it. In MOST states, a rifle or shotgun is not considered a "concealable" weapon. Read the law in your state. In Virginia, it is a concealed HANDGUN license.

I find my 1300 tends to chafe in an IWB holster anyway. And in Thunderwear-forget it.

The reason I asked is I was thinking about having a loaded 12 gauge coachgun in my car's trunk + 1 or 2 pistols on my person.

Thanks Y'all for your perspectives.
