Once i got my stuff together, it was 3 weeks. fingerprints, qualify with 45, send a letter stating why you think you need to carry, then i got a call from AG's office to "clarify". oh yeah +$40 for 4 years. Don't think any of this is in second amendment!
But with all this at least we can rest assured that only good honest and trustworhty people will be carrying guns! Phew am i glad!

Waiting Time

Dec. 8, 2010 I did the paperwork, gave them $85.00, copy of my DD-214

2-12-2011 the mail man delivered my card to pick up my Re-New Carry permit.

I applied Jan 21st and picked up my paperwork Feb. 9th. They told me 25 - 40 days and had mine in less than 21. This was in the state of Missouri. I don't know if my military background helped or not.

Took 11 days for an out of state permit that I applied for in person.

Mississippi was 45 days, no classes, $132 and fingerprints.
