Whats the best inside the belt holster? Looking for comfort for day to day use

Have you thought of OWB holsters? I use a Desantis mini scarab for my combat commander. Very comfortable, rides close to the body and secure. I have an IWB Don Hume holster, for my M&P but not for my colt. I do like that holster as well, but carry the colt mostly now.

Yeah the 1911 is kinda heavy by the end of the day. I would suggest both an owb and a good quality gun belt.

I carry my 1911 concealed all the time. Because of how thin a 1911 is, it is incredibly comfortable iwb. Galcousa makes a holster called the summer comfort that is awesome. Highly recommend it. It's a little pricey but you won't be disappointed.

Yeah i have a springfield commander ima try both iwb and out and see what suits me the best

When I first got my CPL, figured on carrying one of my 1911's, (.45acp & .38 super), both full sized Govt models. Well, it didn't take much of that before I was in the shop looking at poly framed autos. On the odd occasion I carry a 1911 these days, it's in a CB Super Tuck.
