Not having the literal statute to read, I would say "firearm" would be anything so defined by Federal Law. So no ammo, as a costume prop, or whaterver the case would still be a firearm. Even a stripped AR lower would still be a firearm by strict definition.

I always ccw in church , but it is legal here in Pennsylvania . I wouldn't go to a church that partook of haloween though .

The new Kansas Law allows you to carry open now but some of the cities are trying to get their personal carry laws changed right now. I carry mine unless the proper signs are placed according to legal law and I have a ccw and I carry it unless the proper signs are up according to the legal system.

I have often wondered why churches who speak bad about demons, devil, and spirits why they would endorse halloween because it is about the things they are against. It doesn't make sense to me either.

The churches in our area plan for an attack as part of a fire drill. Just about every church has designated shooters appointed by the deacons. It's a damn shame to need an attack plan in a church. One large church in our area actually owns an AR15. I never thought I would see the day when being in the choir involves target practice.
