Did you like the mp compact? A friend at work is considering it, but has no experience or input with it. It seems like there are a lot of full size mp's but not many compacts out there.

Yes, I could see getting it an having it. As you see from about, out of all I have tested, held and shot, it was in the top three. The only downside, to me, is that is was still on the bigger side for a EDC. But a guy at the range who is tall chose it. Very nice and not bad price.

Holy Cow, just told my dad about my first firearms purchase today and he asked me if I wanted his 2 handguns.
"Would you want my 22 cal Ruger single six and the 380 cal on a 45 frame"
Yummmm.... Yes please.
Why didn't I think about that before. Well, maybe I will keep them, maybe I will trade for gun #2.

Just remember, point blank is self defense, 21-feet is murder.

No. I get to name it for you.
You shall call this one, "Beavis".

People often ask me, "How many ARs do you have?". Well, that seems to be in a constant state of flux. An honest and concise answer might be something like "six and five-eighths". And to the AR enthusiasts among us, that will make perfect sense.

FWIW, I use a Saf-T-Bloc trigger block for carrying a Glock in a backpack or any other way than my Galco holsters. I like the extra margin of safety of having a round chambered and the extra margin the trigger block gives.
Mine don't have the capability to run a lock through them and I've never experienced any problems. Well, except for looking for the little black devils after practicing ejecting them. I keep mine rather snug and they'll fly 15'.

Keep your barrel up.
