I've basically decided to go with an 8 shot .357 Magnum revolver. My wife and I are big fans of wheel guns, and we both shoot our S&W 66 the best out of all of our guns. There are basically two brands that offer 8 shot .357s. S&W, which has about 3-4 revolvers, and Taurus, which has only one. We're gonna be on the lookout and prolly snag up the first 8 shot we find.

In terms of ammo, I haven't decided yet. There are three main ones I'm looking at that seem to have reviews saying they are low flash rounds. Here are links to them.

I haven't made up my mind on ammo yet. Ideally, I'd like to buy them all and test them in low light situations.
A 357 is a great gun to have. I have an older N frame MOD 28-2 that I have a serious man crush on. My wife likes the Mod 19 K frame. I mean she really likes it. Like She wanted earrings with 357 head stamps in them. I've not shot any of the 8 shot models. They look nice though. The only of those ammo choices I know personally is the Gold Dot. It's a good round.

Thanks for the feedback. I look forward to buying the gun(s) and ammo and doing the testing with them.

Oh and we have a S&W 66, which is essentially the SS brother of the 19. I almost bought a 19 but it was sold when I got back. I love my 66 tho (2.5" bbl). Will definitely be keeping it.
