in wisconsin you wont lose your right to carry or buy guns unless you escalate the situation and raise your offense to a criminal trespass by refusing to leave when asked.
I agree with AZ too, especially about knowing the law. In some places apparently there is a state standardized sign format that must be used for it to have legal authority. In my state I think the sign can be written in crayon and it still holds legal authority. I don't know though, and it doesn't matter here really, because MS is a pretty gun friendly state, with the only properties posted I've seen being the hospitals.

IN IOWA, if a business posts a " no weapons" sign and for whatever reason you get made carrying........they can ask you to leave. If you refuse, and L.E. is called, and asks you to leave, and you refuse L.E. request to leave, you could get a ticket for TRESPASSING (which is a misdemeanor).
I personally ignore said postings, most of the time. The safety of my loved ones is more important than any threat from a store owner.

Here's the link to sign posting requirements in Texas. I have never seen a sign on a private business that is up to these specs.

Oh and I really hate that it has to be in Spanish, too.

Jumping in here late, but the way I look at it is that no one should know you have a weapon on you....thats the point. I don't ignore the signs...I acknowledge them, but in the end I got my CC permit so I can protect myself and my family when they are with me (home, shopping, camping....whatever). All that I want anyone to know is I am just a ordinary family guy making his way through life. The only thing that would change that is if I was in a life threatening situation or my loved one was and we had to take action. In that dire situation I am in survival mode.....not really worried about signs.

Post all the signs you want. Bad guys don't follow signs or rules....thats why they are bad guys.

You can add to the list from Illinois... well... everything.

I have yet to see any businesses here in Eastern Iowa who have stuck up signs.

Let me give a few business's that won't allow CCW. Pet smart in Ohio is a no CCW, I have been in 5 different locations in Ohio and all are no CCW. Starbucks is a no CCW, they also don't support our troops so I don't give them a dime and tell all my friends to not buy from an unpatriotic business.
I have seen one gun friendly buisness in Dayton near the mall. They sell used video games and dvd's. It's green and has the gun with the sign saying lawful CCW can carry. The manager has a gun semi visible, lots of money moves through that place so he is keeping himself protected and others.
Now when I took my CCW class I was told that if the place has a sign posted no CCW that also means the property, even if in your car. That's why you keep your mouth shut, after all it is CCW, not tell the whole world you have a gun. Although if it was open carry then crime may go down.
Like Wisconsin, if there is a sign posted not to carry that buisness takes all responsibility for your life and family while on there property. Now I look at the no CCW sign and decide if I carry in there or not. Questions I ask myself, how long will I be there, could I get caught, is it dark or a bad neighborhood. All we can really do is elect gun friendly lawmakers, and stop shopping at non friendly gun places.
