It also comes with a 7 round extended back up mag so 5 + 1 + 7 gives you 13 rounds of .45 ACP on board in a gun under 1" Wide and 4.5" Tall...

I'd consider trying one if I was not so damn content with my PM 9...

I conceal my xds every day. Zero complaints. As for the 5 round mag, not really a concern for me personally. 5 in the mag 1 in the pipe. I feel no more concern carrying my xds vs. carrying my 1911 or glock 19.

I say give it a few months and the feeling that everyone knows will go away. If you still want a thinner gun the Ruger LC9 or the Sig P-938 are great single stack guns. The Ruger has a looooooong trigger pull but is other wise a great gun. The Sig, well its a Sig. I have nothing bad to say about it other than the price.

My Beretta Nano conceals really well in my IWB old faithful hybrid holster. 90" wide makes it quite easy and comfortable to conceal.
