The 5.11 tactical belts are nice. Really stiff and with a handcuff key hiding spot stitched in it. __________________

I have one of their "casual" belts & you are right, "stiff"!  It's the one I wear when I carry my full sized all steel 1911. Not a lot of $$$$ either. | |

There 5.11 belts you refer to are leather? I have two of their nylon belts(a riggers and a regular "duty" belt). __________________

The casual one I have is leather, 1-1/2" double-layered with a stiffner between layers. | |

Mine is leather as well. Picked mine up at midway for $35 I think. Nice quality leather too. __________________

I actually a Harley Davidson belt. It's wide and very sturdy leather. | |
