Default Applying for CCW tomorrow (Va)

Well I finally filled out the paperwork and have a current copy of my training jacket with proof of up to date small arms qualifications. Its only going to cost me 50 dollars not bad for 5 years. I will have to start looking at holster combinations for my 19. Thanks to all the good info in this forum it made it a lot easier!

The store rountch hyuh with the widest range (And highest quality) of holsters is rotch hyuh: DRAJON TACTICAL OUTFITTERS - Tactical Gear for Military, Law Enforcement and Government.  Retail.
Widest variety of other truly pro-quality stuff, also. Without needing a 1348, that is.

That was easy enough: Showed my military ID, raised my right hand, signed form and paid the $50 have a nice day mailed to you in 4-6 weeks. Gorknoids thanks for the link and thanks for all the good advice to all that replied!

Default Glad it went well!

Another Virginian here. I actually obtained my permit a few months ago and yes, it wasn't too bad. It's nice being back in Virginia after a few years in another state that required a pain-in-the-butt CCW application process AND required permits to purchase handguns if you didn't have a CCW.

Hope everything goes well for you in obtaining the permit!

Josh

I'm from VA as well. Just went through that whole process at the end of February. It only took about 2 weeks to receive my permit in the mail. Just make sure you get that thing laminated, it's pretty flimsy.

Good luck with the permit. I currently hold one in Oregon and 4 miles across a bridge is Washington state and they dont accept Oregons permit. Therefore, I get to drive across the river about 40 miles out of the way to get my Washington CCW permit.
